You know the old saying, “Garbage in, garbage out.”, well your cooking is only as good as what you put into it. That’s why I try to use the best ingredients I can in my cooking. Here are some of the things I’ve used with great success:
- Homemade stock
- Perpetual Vanilla
- Amore Sundried Tomato Paste
- Cento San Marzano Tomatoes
- Pomi
- King Arthur Flour
- Hartley’s Herbs Perpetual Vanilla
- Mackenzie Creamery goat cheese
- Willingham’s Original Mild Spice Rub
- Gourmet Garden’s Basil Herb Blend

Paul, You've got to have homemade stock on this list! How can anyone live without it?
Absolutely right, Mike! I first created this list from the perspective of store bought ingredients, but anything homemade belongs on the list, too. Edits coming up!
